Primark Skincare Range

Hi guys!
Today's post is going to be my first impressions/review on the Primark skin care range; P.S I Love Your Skin. If you follow me on twitter you'll know how much I've been moaning about my skin recently and how bad it's got! So I have literally gone skincare mad and brought anything and everything insight to try and sort out my face and to my great pleasure when I was Primark last weekend I came across the Primark skincare range - hoorah!
I thought great, a large range of products and it's only going to cost me around £10 for the lot - yep you read that right boys and girls - TEN POUNDS!
All of the products that I brought were;
- Gentle Facial Wash
-Oil Balancing Face Scrub
-Gentle Daily Moisturiser
- 8 Hour Deep Hydration Mask
- 8 Hour Deep Moisturising Cream
- 24 Hour Deep Hydrating Cleansing Lotion

I have used the majority of these products everyday or at least every other day for just over a week and If I'm really honest...I actually think they've made a difference to my skin! I've had really bad small spots on my forehead and really oily eyes and chin area - which is very odd as I've never had skin this bad before?
But as of yesterday I noticed that 1. the spots were almost completely gone, 2. my eye area was infact normal and not over oily and 3. my chin area had completely cleared up! Now for me this is a clear sign that these products are working wonders with my skin.
Okay first things first the packaging is beautiful - pastel lace ...need I say more?! All of the products smell of what I can only describe as the Body Shop Vitamin E Creams - I know very odd comparison but I swear they have the exact same scent. It smells very clean, fresh but not over powering, it's almost a comforting scent.  I think it's because these products include such a fantastic range of ingredients some including Vitamin E, Seaweed, Aloe, Tee Tree and Zinc.
A lot of the products are 'Gentle' to the skin as well which I love and truly believe - the face wash doesn't lather over excessively, the face scrub doesn't feel like your rubbing sandpaper over your face and the hydration mask doesn't make you feel like your face has been pied with a bucket of oil. Trust me  I have tried products that really do make my skin feel like those things.
Through out the week I just kept thinking to myself how were these products so cheap? It seemed like things were just too good to be true - Have I really found a new skincare regime that works and is only £10?! *Maybe I really do have a fairy godmother out there*

Now If I had to recommend my top three products it would be;
1. Oil Balancing Face Scrub
2. 24 Hour Deep Hydrating Cleansing Lotion
3. Gentle Daily Moisturiser
Don't get me wrong I enjoy all of the products but these three I really think are the Dream Team.

The Face Scrub is something that I haven't really come across before, previously when I've used a face scrub they tend to be quite harsh with quite large pieces of salt/beads inside - often making this irritate your skin more. But this scrub looks and feels just like a lotion but includes teeny tiny beads and believe it or not these actually do make a difference although they feel soft on my face I feel like it helps to get into my pores and help with the battle of the blackheads.
The Cleansing Lotion blew me away completely, it is currently my number 1 make-up remover. It includes Moroccan and Argan Oil which I found very interesting as I've only ever used oils in my hair but clearly it works wonders for the face too!  It's so soft and gentle yet it removes the reddest of lipsticks, the blackest most waterproof mascara and it even gets rid of my eyebrows - trust me that ain't an easy product to get off at the end of the day!
And Finally the Daily Moisturiser. Now if you watch my videos you'll know that my one true love is the Nivea Express Hydration Primer but I think that this Primark Moisturiser is going to be a big bit of competition. I love it just as much as my Nivea Primer. It doesn't make my face feel 'wet' after using it and the product soaks in perfectly to my skin giving me a really refreshed smooth finish. You only need a tiny piece and trust me it goes along way. I've been using this when I wake up and before I put on my makeup and well it seems to be doing a pretty good job. This is also dermatologically tested - thats always a good thing!
So this what my first impressions/review of the new Primark Skincare range. Have you tried any of these products - whats' your favourite piece? :)

Lush Valentines Day Collection

Hi Guys!
So today I thought I'd share with you some of Lush's newest arrivals - the Valentines Day collection.
I am so head over heels in love with this collection it's all just so beautiful. I was pretty shocked to realise that when I  was buying these products, that I had in fact NEVER brought the Lush Valentines Day collection before...I know this shocked me too! So this makes it just that little bit more exciting to use all these little luxuries.

First thing I got was the Love Locket Bath Bomb (£6.95)
. Now I did think that was pretty steep for a bath bomb, but when I was talking to one the girls who worked in Lush she explained how because the Locket is so large it can last to up to 2-3 baths,  now this defiantly made me think that the £6.95 was acceptable and inside the Locket is a heart - CUTE!
Next thing I laid eyes on was the Heart Throb Bubble Bar and I will admit it was definitely the gold glitter that drew me in - I mean seriously who can resist glitter?! This little gem was £3.95 and is made with organic shea butter so your skin will go super silky smooth when you use it. It also makes your bath bright red...now I'm not sure about you but I have watched way too many Dexter episodes in my life and when I see a red bath I don't think of a romantic paradise...!
Now once the Heart Throb drew me in with it's slither of gold glitter I was then immediately attracted  to the Lonely Heart Bubble Bar. JUST LOOK HOW MUCH GLITTER THERE IS!
This Bubble bar is £3.50 and has scents of  lemongrass, bergamot and jasmine - now thats a combination for relaxation.
Finally I picked up The Kiss Lip Scrub which was £5.50. I'm already a huge fan of the Lush Lip Scrubs so it didn't take much persuading for me to put this beauty into my basket, in fact there was no persuasion needed - I saw it and I brought it. Now the thing that makes this Lip Scrub that little bit better than the rest is the fact that it has Hundreds and Thousands inside the sugar! I know amazing - and of course it's edible. Who ever thought of that idea you are a genius and I love you.
So guys this is what I picked up from the new Lush Valentines Collection - have you picked anything up?

January Wish List

Hi Guys!
So today I thought I'd share with you my January wish list. My reasons for doing this post, well honestly I'm officially broke after the full extent of Christmas, New Year and the New Year Sales and so I'm left to window shop until my next pay day.

I've had my eye on a few of these things for a little while now so I'm really eager to get my hands on them.

1. This is probably one of the most beautiful shirts I have ever seen. This one is from River Island and  costs £38 *Yikes!* I do think that it's pretty steep for what it is but I've just fallen head over heels in love. I've also seen this shirt on the Asos Website so I'm kind of hoping they might have a 10% or 20% voucher code coming out soon, it might make the price just that little bit more justifiable.

2. Now I know that soon every blogger and her dog will have this book but for once I want to hop on the band wagon and early! I love watching Tanya's make up videos and vlogs and so well why wouldn't I want to read her book?! Even the front cover just looks SO pretty.

3. Now I first saw this shirt on Hannah's blog AwayWithTheFairies and she did an amazing style post on it. It looked so perfect and she had styled it so good  just thought - I need that in my life...like now.   The Shirt is from Asos and is £36, again I think it's quite a lot for a shirt but well I'm sure I'll find a way of justifying the spend.  I absolutely love Hannah's style and her blog so if you haven't checked her out i would 10000% recommend you to!

4. Okay so this really is a new player in the blogger world. The new Bold Metal Collection Real Technique brushes have launched. There has been so much blogger chitter chatter about these bad boys and well I just need to get in on the action. They are a big step up from the original range of brushes with an average price being in the £20 mark, but you'd be happy to pay that for a MAC brush ...right? I really want to get my hands on the 301 flat contour brush - I've been after one for about 6 months now, so I feel like now is the time to splurge out £22 and get a decent one!

5. The LOreal Paris La Palette.  I know I'm pretty slow on wanting this palette, but when it first came out it just didn't grab my attention at all - I know strange! But as time has gone on I've sort of found my self being drawn to it every time I'm in Boots. I've read mixed reviews on it so I guess I just want to try it for myself. For £15 I don't think it's that bad of a price,  you do get 10 eyeshadows and it looks a good mix of matte and shimmer.

6. This is such a cute dainty little necklace and I decided I just need it in my life. It's £4 from River Island and I just think it's so beautiful. More recently I've found myself getting more involved with the whole layering necklaces thing and buying more smaller pieces rather than my usual chunky statement gems.

So this is my current wish list for January - although no doubt it will grow and grow the closer I get to pay day - Typical me. What are your current wish list items?

The Perfect Red Lipstick

Hi guys!
So today I had to share with you the most beautiful red lipstick I have ever found. I'm not usually a red lips kind of girl - I prefer raspberries or pinks but the other day I found the mother of all red lipsticks and it's perfect.

The lipstick is from Loreal, called Julianne's Pure Red and it's only £6.99 - BARGIN!
I've had my eye on this lipstick for a few weeks now - I first saw it at my local Boots but they only had the tester, so literally everyday for like 2 weeks I went back into the store to see if they had re-stocked but nothing, not going to lie I was pretty gutted that I wasn't going to have the lipstick for Christmas! It was only yesterday when I decided to go somewhere other than my local shopping centre and went into a new Boots and tah-dahhh they had the lipstick. I was so happy I bought it instantly - I didn't even continue looking around the Boots store I very literally just ran to the till with excitement.
This baby definitely did not disappoint either - As soon as I put it on I knew it was love. It really is a 'pure red' it does lean slightly more towards the blue undertones but this is fine - totally makes my teeth look whiter (bonus!) The lasting power isn't too long as well you know, it is a drug store product but it does last a good 2-3 hours, which is good enough for me :) I also LOVE the smell of this lipstick...parma violets, know I know a lot of people hate this smell on lipstick but i love it, firstly parma violets are one of my favourite sweets, secondly well...I just love the smell!

So all in all I love this lipstick and I just had to share it with you guys! Have you tried this lipstick? What's your favourite red lippy?
